    Hi, Sorry if this issue has been addressed but I couldn't find it. 1996 2.4 L with a p0402 code. The EGR temp sensor was replaced a few months ago and the code went away, now it's back. It was an aftermarket part. Any ideas? Thank you.

    The code is for excessive exhaust flow... sounds like the EGR valve is stuck open, take it off and see if it is.
