I did try the search function, and I'm sure this has been asked before, BUT...with my 09 RWD 5 lug steel wheels, I am hoping to bump up to a slightly larger tire size for a couple of reasons. I hope I'm shooting in the right direction. I seek better ride quality, and load capacity. Hopefully, without sacrificing fuel economy. I realize the suspension will need some enhancement to accomplish true gains in capacity increase. The baby steel wheels, are still round, but I may in the future look towards bumping their size up a bit(aftermarket options ?). Another issue I continue to have , is maintaining proper tire inflation. My sensors are constantly telling me I am low on tire pressure. It's getting a little frustrating, especially after replacing the 2 right side tires recently ... this truck was purchased as a replacement of a fuel hog V8 Dakota, but I never had any issues with it...thanx for any assist ...

Check Tires pressure in spare and hit and hold the rest button under the steering column. Are you wanting tires recommendations? Michelin LTX M/S is what you want. Comes in any load size in lots of sizes. Smooth ride, wicked ride quality. We use them on the ambulance, and it's the first tire I had on my Tacoma.

Sorry I can't offer any info on the rest.

Welcome to TW. You use search function...you may live.
