I recently purchased a 2018 V6 extended cab automatic 2wd which I am happy with. There is one problem that bugs me. When on the highway and want to pass it seems to take forever to drop to the lower gear when I stomp on the gas. Is there some way to shorter the lag.?

ETC or ECT(forgot what it's called) button is your friend ( if the 18s have it.)

^ that. Or you can shift the lever to the left. It’ll drop to 4th gear.

You should look into the Shiftsense

I went to the Shiftsense website . It seems to change shift points It didn't say anything about decreasing the lag in downshifting. I'll try playing with the shift lever.

    Thanks
