Plug question

Thinking about changing the plugs in the truck 2010 v-6, what type plugs would u all suggest...

I've got a similar question... I just bought a 14.. The book suggests 30,000 miles on a set of plugs??

 

I got 51k on mine. Was more curious if I could get more mpg out of some different plugs

 

Do a search on here for "spark plugs". Already tons of information to amaze and amuse. No need to start yet another spark plug thread.

 

Ive always used NGK plugs.. Iridium seems to last a bit longer but when changing them out every 30k miles even standard NGKs do the job just fine..

Fuel mileage will increase a bit, and if you have a rough idle it may help as well..

 

for the record factory plugs are cheap. nippondensos for the win...the ngk's wear faster imho

 

Go with Toyota plugs and change every 30K. There is a write up in mods. Easy and inexpensive. Not worth buying expensive plugs if you change every 30k. There is also a good write up on plugs (search)
