Poor AM Radio Reception

    2008 Double Cab RWD
    I have a 2008 Tacoma. The head unit/radio currently installed is a 86120-04171-A. The AM radio reception is extremely poor with this HU, and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix that.

    I searched and found nothing on this forum.

    Here in southern California, it's often helpful to check the traffic via AM radio.

    Otherwise I don't use the AM band much.
