I realize that I didn't buy a corvette but my truck seems to be lacking power and speed.
I'm getting a 3" with 33s and was looking to add some higher performense to my truck so it doesn't become a slow terd. Any suggestions on what kind of modification to make? (A better exhaust for example)
The most I would be willing to spend on this type of part is around $800

    Any suggestions would help:D

    Re gear
Urd maf calibrator (gotta put ur big boy drawers on and cut into the harness) or buy the PNP kit from user "nut" aka Patrick.
Maybe a straight through type of muffler like magnaflow.
    No chambered mufflers like chokemaster.
U may see a benefit of an intake... Beware the haters despite dyno proof... And I've been told throttle response is not a valid term to use, so I don't know what to say about that.
When u hit the gas, it seems to wanna pull quicker, but its prolly in my head.
Eventually u may wanna throw a supercharger on it.

Cold air intake system and turbo charger
I installed a new aftermarket air filter (microfiber non-oil, heard that it's better). I also installed a small turbocharger inside the air intake hose. I have to say that it improved some power and only cost me around $50.

All were installed in minutes without voiding warranty.
Look up Hellix Throttle Body Extension, found mine at local car parts stor with the letter O infront.
Easy to install and adds considerable power, without destroying your mpg.
Set up came recommended by a 4x4 owner.
Trust me, you'll notice the difference.
Best money I ever spent on an already nice ride.

Now if they would only figure out better Door Lock Actuators!
