    Hello Forum,
    I have an '08 DCSB PreRunner 4.0.

I replaced my passenger rear door power window switch with a new one from Toyota because it wouldn't lower/raise the window. The window would only lower/raise from the master control panel on the drivers door.

After replacing the power window button I still have the exact same problem.

All the other doors buttons work for their respective doors and all 4 lower/raise from the main control panel. It's obviously not the child safety button because in that case all 3 windows would have the same issue.

Is it possible that the main control panel can become faulty in a way that will ONLY allow the right rear window to work from the main panel and not the independent switch? The door has never been tampered with so I dought it's an electrical issue.

    Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks!

Check the main power panel where the child safety switch is. Might be a bad or corroded connection at the CSS. When you replaced the switch, did you check for power with a VOM?

I didn't & I realize now that I should have. I was so certain that it was going to work. I guess I'll have to do that.

    Thank you.

Well, I feel dumb. I did not know that each power window has its own fuse. HAHAHAHA!

    Problem solved!
