I’ve searched all over and I can’t find anyone that sells this protective film cutout. Specially clear. Lots of sellers of it in black, but that looks terrible on a light color. Anyone have a link/info on getting a replacement?

    Thanks!

Was hoping to find it online, but that will be my next route. I’m just surprised it isn’t something readily available online.

You can easily find Xpel film in bulk on Amazon that you can replace it with. A full 6 inch x 5 foot roll is about $20. That would be plenty to do it even higher on the fender than stock if you want

There is also a tape that looks like masking tape made 3m called knife-less cutting tape. It’s usually used by guys that do fancy vinyl wrap work. It has a sharp filament like fishing line embedded in it. You simply lay out the tape in the shape you want, apply the ppf, then pull the filament and it will cut the PPF to the shape you want without a knife on your paint if you’re not comfortable doing that.

Bought clear rear trim protector ppf for my truck in March on eBay.
If you have the oem part number, try doing a search there.

I bought my truck with this already on. I don't like it as it looks like crap. I'm afraid to pull it off because I have the White paint and I don't want the paint to possibly peel off with the film.

Use a blow dryer or steamer and get the film hot and it will peel of. Just be patient. It took me about an hour to get it off as well as the adhesive. Removing the adhesive was the hard part. Lots of WD40 and GooGone.

I just peeled them off and bought new ones from the dealer. Used some Goo Gone to remove leftover glue, and soapy water/squee gee to apply the new sticker. The application is the tricky part.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
I removed them on my 2016 a few years ago and replaced then with the $20 Amazon xpel film. The film is great, getting the size, cuts, and quality of the cuts right is a real pain.

Fast forward 2 years to this past winter… I removed the xpel film and put on new Toyota film. Cost me about $200 at the local stealership. I’d have bought them online but the Toyota parts websites are so bloody terrible to find parts I gave up and went local. Make sure you get the right ones as they are different for trims as well and short and long bed.

Let you will need to remove the rear fender flares etc. to replace these too.
