Prinsu Cabrack Vibration

Glad you're psyched! I am not a huge fan of the Cabrac but I do love my Toprac

 

I had the same issue when I first installed it. vibration was really bad. After reading the and changing the bolts to the lower one. It stop the vibration. I haven't drove on the freeway yet but on local going 40mph, no vibration vs before there was a noticeable amount of vibration.

 

I had been chasing this vibration for 2 or 3 months now. Finally figured it out. It was this damn roof rack. I would vibrate so bad, it felt like it was coming from the engine area. I put duct tape over the seam gap between the rack and the top on the roof to figure it out. I have mine set on the lowest bolt hole, weather striping and everything. I can also feel the drag on cross winds really bad too.. What sucks is I have 8 rock lights and a light bar on it.. I really want to get rid of it.

 

for almost a year I had the same exact issue n I had the front end checked out by multiple shops just for them to tell me everything is fine, the vibration was driving me nuts. Today someone sent me this thread so I took the prinsu off n hit the highway and what a difference I went from only being able to hit 75mph to 95 like nothing. Sucks the roof rack was the issue because I enjoyed the look of it but I just couldn’t make it work even with lowering and lifting the wind deflector
