The other day I was reading how to program a new fob for my 2014 Toyota Tacoma. An individual mentioned one way was to disconnect the receiver (located under the glove box).
After removing the glove box, I couldn't get the connector to pull out of the receiver. So I disconnected the battery instead, and voila`, tried the program routine (after reconnecting the battery, of course)....worked the first time. The Toyota dealership assured me the fobs I purchased online were probably not going to work, and they would charge me $115 for a new fob, and $120 to program it. That's $350 for two new fobs with programming...cost me $60 for two fobs from KeylessRemoteWarehouse, and about 20 minutes of my time. Hope this helps someone out there with the same problem. Geez...stealerships is the correct name for them!!!
