    I took the thick washer off the top bushing last night by the way. It seemed to gap the hood just enough for me to notice it so i loosened both sides and jacked up on the radiator support and removed both top washers. Now its just the large bushing on top. Ill keep you guys posted if it starts squeaking so far so good but they have grease still so once that dries out maybe they will squeak who knows.

    look at the thread that i linked at the top of this page, or my images a page back. They are Radiator support bushings. Mine were dry rotting and falling apart so i spent the $23 bucks for piece of mind and replaced them, very easy job. I don't think its how often its when and if you need to replace them at all, its all opinion really. Im the only one that has replaced mine out here in CO that i know of. Take a look at the thread and look at yours to see if you want to replace them or just let the OEM bushings be, i haven't seen any ripping of the sheet metal like some of the images posted in that thread.

    Thanks man!! Cut straight across the flaps 4 inches up, then use the original bottom as your template to round out the short flaps. Took a pair of snips to them and then rounded out and smoothed them on a table mounted belt sander.

    So Phil, were those radiator bushings more of an upgrade from a crappy oem part to a better one? Or is the hardware completely different in itself? Were yours squeaking or something?

    Awesome thanks for letting me know! I've been wanting to do mine and definitely need to get on it, i hate riding around with a pelfrey rear with those mud flaps hanging so low lol it definitely looks a lot better trimmed

    took a read through the thread on the poly radiator bushings, walked outside and snapped a picture of mine and they were pretty dry rotted so i decided to replace them with the poly bushing ES kit. You use your OEM bolt and nut but toss the OEM bushings. It was just for piece of mind really.

    Just shim the mount up with washers or a long sleeve and a longer bolt.

    A small handful of select mods.
    Then you get even more slack in the line when you did that mod first and eventually get longer rear brake lines.

    Eric he isn't answering text either tonight. I think he might be busy fetching dill pickles, ice cream, sardines, and a double quarter pounder for his wife. :D
