2016 at 60k. At first it was a pulsing hum, now vibration. Bought the warranties. bearings? CV joint? Has some oil dripping too. I think this truck was a beat lease.

If it's under warranty then take it to the dealership and ask them. We can talk about it here all you want but that's how you're going to get it solved.

If it goes away when you turn in one direction its a wheel bearing, if its a constant hum, check your tires for cupping.

Just dropped it off at the Dealer. Turns out, there's the frame recall. Interested to see what it is. Will update soon.

That frame recall is just to check for rust and spray some waxy stuff on into it to prevent rust.

Picked up the truck on Saturday. One of the new tires they installed was out of balance, so they rebalanced and rotated all four. Then tested and found front left bearing was bad. They ordered the part. Told them to do a PM service while it was there. Charged me $27 to rotate the tires. Oil was good for 10k miles??? No other service performed. I'll be having a discussion with the service manager when the bearing arrives for installation to understand the charge and not doing a 60k PM service as prescribed by the owners manual. I guess I have to tell the "automotive technicians" what to service at 60k. I'm a construction guy, not a mechanic...

So the dealership put on new tires, but they were out of balance and that caused the bearing to go bad?

If they charged you for a tire rotation that's normal for the service, as is the 10k oil change interval. Did you specifically say to do the 60k service per the manual or did you ask for whatever is due for the truck? That could be some of the confusion.

Is the bearing being replaced under warranty or do they consider that a wear item that is your responsibility?

EDIT: Can't see your attached photo, but that might be a problem on my end.

Update on the latest service to repair a pulsating vibration. There is a TSB#0011-18 to replace the carrier bearing assembly. Toyota warranty covered the service. The frame recall was completed also. I asked if this may have been caused by abuse. The Service rep stated the machining of the parts have history of failure.
