Your wheels didn't come with hub caps or a bag of plastic rings?

Most Toyota aftermarket wheel are already hub centric because they use the largest center bore. If you try and put a Toyota style wheel on GM, you need the rings

The only right answer is to call the vendor and ask. They should know the hub size of your vehicle and the centerbore of their wheel. If they are required they should have been part of the package.

Hubcentric rings are 'fillers' that are used when the centerbore of the wheel is larger than the diameter of the hub.

It helps keep the wheel assembly centered on the axle while mounting. It's especially needed if the lug are flat bottomed, not allowing the wheel to be centered on the studs via careful installation.

On my SoloII car I regularly mounted wheels that 'needed' hub rings w/o them, and never had an issue. But the wheels had tapered lug seats/lugs, allowing centering to occur by proper installation.

The tire shop is smart in asking for this bit, just to make sure the customer doesn't show up w/o all the right parts and frustrate the customer and waste an appointment slot for the shop.

question for ya'll.....I am getting some wheels today and the hub size on them is 106.25mm and our trucks are size 106.1mm......will I need any hub rings? or will I be okay without them? I mean it's .24mm difference. If I do, what size ring do I need?

No such thing as quarter millimeter thick ring for wheels. That's shim thickness territory.
