I am picking up an 08 Tacoma this weekend and I can't stand the thought of having to listen to my Ipod and sat radio through the radio tuner. I don't really want to replace the factory radio, all I want is an AUX jack. I understand that my only option is a Usaspec. Is that true? Are they worth it?

Does the 08 Taco not have an AUX port? My 09 does.

 

I have an 07 and I use one. It took me 10 min to hook it up and put everything back together. If you have the text display it should work.

 

I love mine. It charges it too. You can control songs via the radio or iPod/iPhone. Easy install too. I ran my cable next to the glovebox, in the shift console, and out the center console.

 

I've had one in my '07 for almost 3 years now. Couldn't be happier with it! Easy install and it's wired so the Ipod stays in the glove box out of sight.
