Raptor lights

i am wanting to add some raptor amber lights to my grill, however when it comes to wiring i ain’t 100% what i need or where i should get them

i have read that you need a desperate fuse box, is this true? and if so where would i find a decent one.

also i am wanting them to be constantly one, would this be possible? i can figure out how to get them there if they are, i just don’t wanna go through the hassle and possible ruin them or waste my time

Edit: Not ALWAYS on, i’m just wanting them to be on when the truck is on

 

youtube might be a good starting point. then some of the gurus on here can help you as specific questions come up (ie wiring diagrams, relays/switches, etc). I would not run them constantly on, should be able to switch off when car is shut off. Would be a pain to have to remember to turn them off every time. do you have the lights on hand or a set you're looking at getting?

 

If you're just planning on running just the raptor lights you won't need a whole auxiliary fuse block, but if you plan on adding more circuits in the future it's not a bad idea.

As for running them there are a few options. You can tie them into the drl's or have them on a separate switch or both or something else.

 

Most of the kits come with an add a fuse that you can just connect in the fuse box.
