so i have a 2010 tacoma trd with the E-locker
the problem is that my locker doesn't work the red light on the dash comes on and blinks does not come on solid. i have removed actuator from rear diff and unplugged wiring from actuator. I took a test light with truck running and in 4wd low and diff lock button engaged lock light blinking and checked all wiring to actuator with test light and no power at any pins that plug in to actuator motor. Checked all fuses and those were all good still.

wondering if anyone has run in to same problem

the problem isn't that it wont lock the problem is that there's no power going to the actuator telling it to lock

I am not completely familiar with the setup, but I don't think it applies constant power to the actuator. If you have it all back together right now. I would have a friend push the locker button while listening near the rear tire (easier to hear with the engine not running). It should be a pretty obvious noise. If you don't have a friend handy you can try and hit the button and listen yourself.

So, did you get it to work? If not, just use the A-TRAC... which gives more traction as it 'auto-locks' the front and rear when any tires lose traction.
