Rear differential fluid

    Synthetic 75w90 is fine. That’s what I used when I serviced my brothers 2010 Tacoma. I also plan to use 75w90 in place of 75w85 in another family members 2016 4Runner with 30k miles.
    The front diff looked particularly bad on my brothers Tacoma so I filled it with some cheap 80w90 and let him drive it a while and then drained it again and refilled it with synthetic 75w90.
