At the rear of my 15 Tacoma TRD Sport Prerunner, the leaf spring sits in a bracket which sits on top of a bracket. Can the top bracket be removed and set the leaf spring in the lower section resulting in a bit of a lift to the rear of truck?

If you are referring to the shackle (which is kind of upside down compared to the traditional style) at the back of the leaf spring, that allows the spring to expand when compressed. If you bolted the back of the spring directly to the bracket it would become rigid at best, or break stuff and substantially lower your rear end. I hope this description is clear enough.

Thanks for reply. I recently purchased this truck and am searching for ways to add a little lift to the back. This seemed like a cheap 2 inches.
