So I searched the forum and couldn't find anything on this.

My 2021 Tacoma has the sliding rear window and it has a rattle when it's open but only when I go over a speed hump faster than say 15-20 mph. I know this because I have to go over the same 7-8 speed humps every day and I've had the window slid open and closed. I'm confident it's definitely the sliding window because it sounds like rattling glass and it only does it when it's open (thank God because stuff like that drives me crazy). Has anyone else experienced this? Obviously it's gonna go to the dealer and it should be easy to duplicate but just curious if anyone else had this issue and what was done to remedy it.

    Thanks y'all.

Frankly, I wouldn't bother the dealer with such a matter. I would just slide the window open, then try to move it around to simulate the movement that causes the rattle. Then determine which parts need attention.

Its likely worn or loose or poor fitting weather stripping.

Or the rattle is a warning chime about going over speed bumps too fast. There are so many nanny devices on the 3rd Gens.......

I have a warranty so I'll let them fix it. I have tried to move the window pane and it feels solid no matter where it is (open fully, partially, closed and anywhere in between). It's definitely a warning chime.
