As I am sure we are all aware...the stock speakers are horrible. I drive a 2019 SR5 without the upgraded audio. The fronts sound fantastic. However, there is no sound to the back door speakers at all. I've tried checking the sound settings to make sure they aren't faded to the front. Changed sources and also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.

I decided to replace them with a set of Kickers:

    Kicker 43DSC69304 D Series 6x9 Inch 360 Watt 3 Way Dual Speakers with 43DSC6504 6.5 Inch 240 Watt 2 Way 4 Ohm Car Audio Coaxial Speakers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FBRCRHB

I didn't splice any wires and use these clips to wire them up:
RED WOLF Car Door Speaker Wiring Harness Adapter Connector Plug Replacement for 2000-2019 Toyota Camry 4Runner Tacoma RAV4 Scion, Subaru 2012-2019, Mitsubishi 2002-2020 4PC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G8ZQJP2

Unfortunately, I didn't realize they needed the adapter brackets. So instead of ordering them like I should have....I tore up the old speakers and used the bracket they were molded to. I just ordered the brackets and will replace them eventually.

Tomorrow I am going to take the front speakers out and see if they put out noise when wired to the back door speaker harness. In the mean time, is there anything else I should be checking? I don't think this model has an amp and to my knowledge there is only one fuse.

When you say no sound, do you mean when you put the fader all the way to the rear and crank the volume, you hear zero sound? Or is it just quiet?

If it's quiet, that's normal. It can only be fixed by an amp.

If it's zero sound, that's not normal. That's a head unit problem.

Zero sound. It is the stock head unit. I'm curious if it is the speakers. The box was a bit damaged and looked like it was taped twice. I could be over thinking that though.

It most likely is not the speaker if there is no sound.

That's kind of weird that both rears are out. It's possible that it's bad speakers, but highly unusual. I wonder if your homemade bracket is shorting them. Maybe take them out of the brackets and see if they'll play while hanging loose.

Ill give that a shot. The bracket is all plastic but it is a bit large and is putting tension on the wires.

Figured out what the problem was. The window switch and the speaker clip both share the same loom of wires. The adapter clips I purchased for the speakers had too much tension when the door is fully assembled. So when reassembling the door and clipping in the window switch, it would pull and disconnect the ground from the back of the speaker. I extended the speaker wires and this fixed the issue. Thank you all for the input.
