Mine doesn't seem to look any different but I'll try and take a pic next time I'm outside.

    ***UPDATE***

After about a week I heard back and Toyota approved a customer courtesy repair of the 3rd brakelight on my truck. She said that my service manager really pushed them to cover it because I get all of my service done at the dealer, etc. and that they wanted to keep me happy as a customer. I think the dealer would have eaten it even if Toyota didn't approve the repair, I got a call about 5 minutes after I got off the phone with Toyota telling me my truck was done and I could pick it up anytime.

For what it's worth, I'd suggest anyone be polite, be patient but be firm. I kept reiterating that this is a well documented issue on the online forums and that it's something Toyota knows about and should do the right thing. Cool heads = Covered repair.

I have called Toyota on three different occasions and they contacted the dealership. I have got the same answer every time that until I pay for a diagnosis from the dealership they will NOT consider covering it. Even after the diagnosis they stated that it may not be covered still. I am 5 months past my warranty coverage.
