IMG_5516.jpg IMG_5514.jpg IMG_5515.jpg IMG_5517.jpg I am 1/2 way into a headliner swap on my 2012 Tacoma SR5 trim. When I went to remove the overhead console I found the harness that appeared to go to the mirror had been cut. Any idea where I can find the mirror harness? Any idea what kind if mirror I have? Any help would be appreciated.

Awe man that sucks. I know that this is old so hopefully you found a solution. If not, I'd check to see if the dealer can spec the connector for you. Toyota has the connectors and even the pins to repair them available for most of our harnesses.

I just ordered a pig tail from ebay. I looks to be what will come and save the day. I found out i have a gentex 455 which are common and interchangable to different car makes/brands. I had purchased an aftermarket "harness" which proved to be a turd and waste of $25. Now my questions is what is up with the clipped wires to the left in the picture? The pigtail will only solve the grey wire dilemma

I haven't taken down my headliner so I can't say right off, but could those be the power wires to your maplights?

    Good question, glad you asked.

The truck had a broken, sagging & blood stained headliner from the previous owner. I got my hands on a donor 14 headliner that went in perfectly. When I dropped the original headliner is when I found the clipped harness for the mirror. I was also able to locate the broken power wire for the dome light.

    Gotcha.

I thought you were swapping over to benefit from a feature or something.

How much did you pay for the used headliner? They're extremely expensive new, about $1400.

Pictures of the donor truck. It was a flood victim in Houston. You can see the water inside the headlights still

Sorry my friend. Only have the wiring diagram for my truck and it is lacking these. If everything is working and plugged in it was likely for an option you don't have?

Ohhhhhh fancy. You also have sun visor lights.

It took me 6 months to track one down and it was 6 hours north of me in Houston. Lucky for me my uncle lived 1/2 mile away and was able to get the parts I needed.
