So now that we have uncovered that the bastard wires may belong to the bluetooth it got me thinking. I have the bluetooth controls in the steering wheel, i have the mic on the OH console, i have the aux in the dash but I have the base radio with no options to click on the aux or bluetooth.

    Could it have been swapped?

I think I have the answer to this. But before I make a fool out of myself I will summon the wise and mighty @nazlax10 & @adio . They will definitely be able to close this case. Stay tuned

I think the three wires in the gray tube are your Bluetooth wires. They seem to match up with my Bluetooth on my 2015.

My guess is green is ignition
    Lighter red constant hot
    White with black stripe ground

I'm not sure about the other 2.

Time to pull the radio and let this mystery machine show its ugly side. I'm guessing I should find 2-3 plugs in the radio harness just chillin in the back with no really home in the current radio.

I just called my local Toyota dealer. A very reluctant employee was able to give me the part number for the replacement radio that was original installed on my truck. The part number is 8612004260. A quick google search revealed that I am suppose to have the a518b3 radio which is the same as the picture on post #48 and the same as the video on the post #49.

Thank you sir, but I only know what I know from other great and amazing members!

As far as those wires I believe @big_jarv was right and that they're the Bluetooth microphone wires and the dome light wiring.

So my guess was correct. I pulled the radio and it has "07 Tacoma" in yellow ink. I have a wiring mess back there as well. It looks like it may have had an aftermarket radio at one time since most connections are cut and taped together with black tape.

Anyway. I have 2 "bastard" plugs just chilling back there. Could anyone help in identifying what they may be?

Personally, I would hook up a toner from the phantom headliner wiring and see if they go down there.
