Recommend a Bluetooth obd2

Looking at getting a Bluetooth obd2 for my android phone. Can you guys give me some recommendations from ebay or Amazon that you've used. Checked reviews and some seem hit or miss.

I have used PLX Kiwi 2 for about 10 years now on multiple vehicles, works great, thinking about getting the Kiwi 3 since it takes up less space.

 

I use the kiwi 3. Damn good device but for $100 I probably would have looked elsewhere if I had an android. With my iPhone, the Kiwi 3 was my only option for Bluetooth

Save the money and just buy a ultragauge, I've used both the blue tooth and wifi OBD scanners. The ultragauge is the best and easiest to use.

 

Im in agreement with usethesecond. I've tried a bunch of the BT transmitters. Some work good, some not so much. I like the dedicated units. The best are Ultra Gauge and Scan Gauge. Less hassle and easy to use.

I do keep a BT unit on hand to check codes for others. In addition, these are cheap, usually less than $20 for app and BT transmitter.

I use this as well. Nice thing is that it can be moved from vehicle to vehicle. I paired it with OBDFusion. I used it this weekend to check my AT Temp after doing a fluid flush. OBDFusion has a great interface.

 

I've got Torque Pro and it does what I want. I don't use it often. Initially I used it a lot to see how long it took to get to certain engine temps on warm up, battery voltage during winching and engine start up, actual speed with 33s... This thread reminded me that I can remove the reader. I'm sure it's not much draw, but if I'm not using it...
