reconditioning tired nerf bars???

HI all new here I have a 2006 Tacoma nerf bars starting to pit and paint starting to blister a bit was wondering what others have done thought anything from plasti dip - bed liner any in put would be great.

 

I spend hours sanding and repainting an old set a few years back. It was a ton of work and the rust came back in two years.

IMHO buy a whole new set and save the time and hassle.

 

Thanks for that . It is one of my considerations too. mine are aluminum I believe, so there corroding more than rusting though.... I would sand blast them or sand down and apply either a spray or roll on bed liner material IE. duplicolor spray liner or herculiner roll on .
