    Hey Everyone,
First time here. I recently bought a 2011 Tacoma SR5 from a used car dealership. My problem is that I have a red blinking light that just starting blinking. This light is no where in the manual and I can not find it online. I am attaching a pic if someone could please tell me what it is and how to make it stop blinking. Also if it helps...the horn just started honking when I unlock the truck the other day. It did not do that the first couple weeks I had the truck.

Definitely an aftermarket alarm. You need to find the brain, which means you might have to pull that plate out and start tracing wires if you can't find it.

How would I be able to check for aftermarket alarm? I shook the hell out of the truck but nothing happened?

i had the same thing in my old taco, thank god the light didnt blink but yeah its definitely an aftermarket alarm, and if your looking for the brain i would say to check on the drivers side kick panel or up under the dash on the driver side to the left of the pedals, at least thats where both mine were mounted by the shop and thats where i have always found them

Take it to an alarm shop, they will pull it out for you if you don't wait to mess with things. If it is not disconnected correctly and has a starter/fuel pump disable, your truck may not start.
