Did you have to cut the flare as well or drill new mount holes? otherwise would the holes just match up leaving the flare as low as it was before?

The flares we're cut down, plastic welded, bonded, sanded, then prepped and painted.

    Never got it?
Yep. Looks the way it should from the factory IMO. I always thought the flares on these were too thick; i preferred the size of the flares on the 1st gens.

Mod looks great. But you say you plastic welded and bonded the flares? Why can't you just cut them down, sand, prep and paint?

The bottom lip was mimicked to make it look factory again, and give them a cleaner look. I didnt want the sharp edge of just cutting the flare.

Here's some pics I snapped this afternoon.
    Most recent mods were:
-Mounted up one of my rear bumpers w/hitch
-replaced my 'duplicor' color matched eyelids (too yellow) for some used ones off a member that were professionally color matched. Next I need to get the grille professionally color matched as well.
-Rotate and Sipe the KM2's for better wet pavement and snow/ice traction.
-touch up scraped to shit sliders. Stripped off previous paint/bedliner/rust, and then primed and re-bedlinered them.
-pressure washed inside fender wells and undercarriage, then touched up with some flat black paint to make it look spotless clean
-Cleaned and bedlinered the diamond plate headache rack/bed rails.

    Here's the outcome:
