Well...my wheel bearing blew up while on my way home. Finally got it all torn apart and put back together. My brother and I were on it the majority of yesterday. When she blew it took out my abs sensor also melted my brake caliper together and the exterior wheel hub welded to the back plate as well. 600 buck and a long ass day later she's ready for another trail

 

Thanks man, 5 acres of shithole sandy desert but its mine and a shop and a garage and a house not as nice as my old one.

Hey all, I know some of yall recommended nates precision for a CMC. Was quoted there at around 400. Still trying to stay in the ballpark of 250 if anyone knows solid shops that can do it.

 

Buy yourself a harbor freight angle grinder some and safety glasses and go to town. Then when you’ve cut it to fit your plate, I’m sure someone will weld it for you. In fact, if you go to Reno4x4.com theres a dude advertising free welding for anyone. He might help you do the cutting to. Save yourself some $$ and learn a few new tricks while you’re at it.

 

Not opposed to the idea if I had a house. My apartment nag me enough for doing general maintenance in my parking lot. Let alone using an angle grinder. I'll look into the reno4x4.com thing though. Thank you!

Angle grinder at night under a car will definitely get the cops called on you with all the catalytic converter thefts.

 

Made a mistake trying to make it from boca to Prosser. We were first tracks the whole way. We had to turn around because there was water across the trail that swallowed 40s. Started at 3:30PM, was back on the pavement at 1AM. 9.5 hours for 8 miles haha

 

Any of you fine folks in law enforcement with a badge number that's authorized to do a VIN inspection? I got my new (used) Tacoma home now and that's one of the forms I need to get done before registration.

Last time I needed one for a Jeep, I found some officer sitting on the side of the road, pulled over and said, "Hey man, can you sign this real quick?"
