I had a dingus (I have better choice words) break into my camper shell a few days ago. Broke both my side locks and handles frame in the process. Are these easy to replace and if so what are they called exactly? With age my timmynet searching skills are getting worse.

Dude, you are life saver. For whatever reason I couldnt find them or figure out the name.

I have a follow up question that I just thought of. Was mine easy to break cause the locks where old or are they just weak locks? If it’s weak locks does any one have suggestions for better locks?

They are pretty cheap to begin with. If you want an upgrade, I recommend these:

They use the same screw pattern and the internals last longer. They are made out of plastic, not that cheap pot metal of your old ones. You can reuse the inside latches you already have with these too if they are still in good shape.

So, I went ahead and ordered those handles. Got them installed. Took me a few extra minutes cause the square part was too big for the old hole. But works and does feel a lot better than my cheap crap ones hah. Thanks for the info man. Now to just replace my window screen that they tore….
