Replacement Shackles?

    I'm just curious, but is it possible to put a lift shackle from something like a ford ranger to achieve lift on the rear end? I had that on an older truck, and the shackles look identical. And for 40-50 bucks for lift shackles, and grease inserts, seems like a pretty economical lift option.

    You can get a shackle flip kit and add something like an XJ shackle from what I've seen.

    Gotcha, just curious. I was looking at my shackles, and thought they looked almost exact. But I figured this was the place to ask!!

    I know about the shackle flips, but I saw the ranger shackles and thought they may work without having to do the flip. Something along these lines:
