I just bought a 2007 Tacoma from my brother. It has a Leer 180 style cap on it, and I just broke the passenger side sliding window :( Can anyone that has a setup like this inform me of where I can get a replacement window. Leer won't answer my emails, and the dealers are having the same problem. Maybe someone out there knows of an after market place I can get a replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Contact your local glass replacement business. They can usually get, or cut to fit what you need.

Thanks Marshall, it looks like that is getting to be my only hope. I did find a place called Provent Windows, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

Whereabouts do you live? I have a local "Leer" Dealer that can get replacement sides (ie windows, hatches struts etc) depending on the leer cap you have. There is a serial number that is on the rear driver side corner of every leer cap and they can go off of that to get a replacement. Leer themselves never respond to anything.......really crappy customer service, but if you look on the Leer website, you may be able to find a "local Dealer" in your area and if you call them, all they need is your serial number to order you one.

Yep. On my 2013 I purchased a second hand 100R and when I was fixing the cracked hinge on the rear hatch I managed to drill too far before I used the rivet gun and I blew the back glass out of it. A local cap dealer was able to order me a brand new replacement back window, frame, etc and install it for me for a semi-reasonable price. The cap was $370 used (a steal!) and the repair was $370, making my steal less so. I ended up getting $900 for the cap when the truck was totaled, so score?

Thanks to all who replied to my "dilemma". As I was afraid would happen, I ended up having to order the "whole" assembly from Leer. Obviously it is by design that they made them that way. No matter what I did, it is designed not to be able to replace one section and get a good tight fit. Oh well, such is the trials of owning good name brand stuff:) Again, thanks to all.
