Hey guys I had my windshield replaced last week and asked the guy if he knew of anyway to replace just the slider on the back window. After researching on his computer he found no one carried just the slider so he was just about to bail on the idea and then took a second look.

He decided to remove where the window clip on the slider attaches to the plastic vertical second part on the window with the two small phillip screws. He then slid out the plastic piece sideways along the window due to a v shaped grove in the middle of the plastic piece. Now He was able to slide the window completely forward behind my driver side headrest.

Seeing this he pushed it back into its original spot and proceeded to remove a felt like or rubber like strip that runs along the bottom of the rail behind my head rest. Now when he slid the window all the way forward it dropped down about a half inch. Allowing him to pull the top out and WAALLLAAA! Now he did have to pull the rubber seal piece back slightly from the square shaped opening of the slider- bottom right corner to manipulate getting the window back a bit to come out but no big deal.

Im sure once you get to that point you will see what it takes to figure it out. Let me know if you need any more help if I didn't cover something.

SAVINGS!!!!!!!! $700 plus..... just need to find a replacement
