I was changing the headlight bulb on my 2015 Tacoma when the retaining clip popped off and I can't get it back on to stay. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Btw, I'm a new member and live in Kannapolis, NC about 20 miles north of Charlotte and would like to extend a happy and prosperous new year to all here. May God add His blessing to you all.

That's funny. I was changing the bulb in my 2013 in the parking lot of a local parts retailer on Sunday, and the retaining clip disappeared. Might have fallen into some hard to see spot in the engine compartment, or dropped to the ground, which is covered in snow. In any case, couldn't find it. Didn't think it would be a big deal until I called my Toyota dealer. They said they don't sell those clips separately. If I wanted one, I'd need to buy a new headlight assembly! $385 Canadian! No.
So I called a garage that I used to deal with before I got the Tacoma and the guy directed me to Amazon where you can buy an assortment of clips for under $20. I'll let you know whether one of them fits.
