I'd like to throw BAMF in the hat on this one. I have the bolt on DCLB sliders w/ kickouts and LOVE THEM!. The build quality is top notch and I only had to drill two holes on each side of the frame as they uses the existing frame holes. Also, I had mine Line X'd and they look great and have lifetime warranty on the coating. If you plan on wheeling every other day and getting your use out of them I'd suggest rattle can as you can touch up as needed. I have yet to hear this pro for legit rock sliders but I got mine for added safety in case of an accident. I have a new baby and would do anything to protect her. I call my idiot sliders for other drivers on the road. I fear that much more than actually wheeling and sliding on rocks. Lastly, I have a roof rack and find it extremely handy to load/unload my roof rack with ease while standing on them. Just my 2 pennies, happy slider shopping.

No problem EddyRRT! You do great work and I have yet to see a dissatisfied customer on any of your threads. 100% Customer feedback is hard to do these days, and yet you make it look easy. Keep up the great work!

Excellent points for safety. I recently had a lady in a parking lot hit my sliders instead of the truck with her door as she was getting out. I quick spray and it was good as new. Though the bottom her door did have a small ding in it. ;)

Great point Gord, I totally forgot that bonus in safety from asshole door dingers. I've been sitting in my truck a handful of times while someone hits my sliders with their door. The line X coating has held up 100%.

I would say the channel, seen below. I cut the back part of the channel off, notched and bent back straight, filled, and added gussets.

Gussets are certainly a requirement for heavy wheeling. Those 4th Gen 4Runner sliders are the the only ones Shrockworks offers without gussets and are done that way to make room for the hydraulic lines in the xreas system.

They offer a lifetime warranty against trail damage, so I'm sure you could have gotten a fresh set built for you as a replacement.
