I'm looking at getting a RTT soon, but the main reason I am looking for one is for dirt bike/mountain bike trips.

My original plan was use a BAMF bed rack, but my bike won't fit under it.

Then I was looking at M416 or M100 trailers, but I had trouble finding one under $1k in NorCal. This would be ideal so I don't have to pack up the truck when my wife shuttles me up the mountain.

I started looking at roof racks, but it looks like the big name racks are only rated for ~75lbs.

What is everyone using for rooftop mounting on their 2nd Gen?

Can it be mounted without completely removing the weather stripping?

Yes. I have my weather stripping in and running the full length of the cab on both sides.

What kind of mounts are being used for the track line, Id like to build my own but I'm not sure what to use. Are there T-nuts that slide in the track line?

I have a Tepui Kukenam mounted on the roof with the basic Thule square bar rack. Works great
