    Mostly dust and dirt.
In between the rear cab wall and the bed there is are rubber flaps.
    What is the purpose?

Less wind noise and so the dirt doesnt get in there? I could be very wrong though.

My rubber flaps are still covered in dust after spending lots of time offroad on dry summer months.

    They are pressure relief vents.

Slam the door and watch them. If they didnt exist the windshield would blow out.

Most cars have these in the rear covered by the bumper skin.

    Still thinking about it.
I could sure be wrong and I’m happy to be corrected but I ‘think’ it’s a valve, so you can close the doors with the windows up. I’ve wondered the same thing.

I think he's talking about on the exterior of the truck, looking at the gap between the bed and cab. Those lil rubber wiper flaps.

Lets air flow thru the truck when windows are closed and fan is on, or when closing doors when windows closed.

I think OP is talking about those long rubber flaps right between the front of the bed and the back cab wall.

Kinda hard to miss. Noticed it first day I got my truck and every time I go from front to back and back to front. But, I am a bit weird. Actually got the part number buried somewhere because I wanted to complete the seal around my truck cap, but the dealer wants a whole lot of gas money for it.

Want to hear something interesting, especially since you have an access cab?

Take the truck out on on a highway, turn down the radio, and switch your climate system back and forth between
recirculate and fresh air. You'll hear it get quite a bit quieter on recirculate because those flaps will close.

Those vents in the rear cab wall are the major source of interior noise. There are a couple of good threads here on how to reduce their noise. Made a huge difference with my access cab.

Cool video snickers, and funny, my 19 DCSB SR5 with no tonneau cover and the front air dam gets better mpg than my 20 DCSB OR does with tonneau and no front air dam. That air dam works as designed it just looks grandpa
