well If you see a serious problem with a policy and that it has the potential of a catastrophic outcome then Hell yes I will say I hope it fails as is the right to say it to anyone. That's BS to be a yes man just because he won the election. I disagreed with Bush policies too and I made that known. No one held back commenting about Bush during his administration, why do we have to hold back for Obama.

 

That's not why he wants to see Obama's POLICIES to fail. He wants them to fail because if they succeed, we will be so far down the socialism road that we may not be able to turn back.

I listen to Rush almost every day, but mainly because he's entertaining. I find his genuine arrogance really funny! Now I agree with most of his viewpoints, not necessarily everything he says, but, as he says, he's "documented to be right 99.8% of the time"...

 

excellent point tacoCo. I am very conservative but I lost a lot of respect for Rush for saying he hopes Obama fails. The to me is the epitomy of all that is wrong in politics. It is too much like a football game. THEY HAVE TO WIN, there is no compromising, just partisan extremism. It would have made a world of difference to me if he had said "Obama will fail". That is a completely different statement. But saying you hope your enemy (even though no one who is serving under the same government as you is ever your enemy) fails is utterly wrong.

 

there is a big different between Obama policy fail and Obama fail.
again.. if his policy is going to head us down to financial ruin then everyone should hope that policy fail and a new policy be adopted

 

Ok I just made a crucial mistake that I have been trying to steer away from ever since I began formutating my own opinions. People cannot repeat one line of what he says and expect it to be a fair and accurate assement of his entire statement. He goes on to justify why he wants Obama to fail. Longhorn points out his reasons why he wants it to fail.

If you get nothing else out of those transcripts, get that he is an arrogant SOB is in not going anywhere for a long time.

 

I agree he is arrogant. that is part of his shtick

 

tacoco the dems may not have come out and said it but there actions against the war is all i need to see that they hoped our soldiers lost and got killed. when you speek out against the war then you give th other side support.

And rush's point is that if obama's policys fail it will be good for america and if obama's policies dont fail america will fail.

If you like obama and his policies then you should be a proud supporter of jimmy peanut carter

side note.. .after all the earmarks have been written and approved then Obama will address earmarks... just stated on CBS evening news. More specifically said... we will address earmarks later. How convenient. I guess he can then say he didn't go against his campaign. After they all pass now.. what is left to pass later.
