Hi there. New here. Not new to Tacomas. This is my second. I bought a 2013 4x4 double cab.
So far I replaced the headlights and tail lights, its got 150k miles. It has a very rusted rear bumper reinforcement and hitch bar. I don’t need the hitch as we have a GMC tow vehicle so unless I have to replace that I am happy to remove the hitch and just replace the bumper support.
I THINK I know what I need to replace but am looking for any advice to make sure I am replacing the correct parts.
A couple pictures are included along with the part I think I need.

If you’re looking to eliminate the factory tow hitch, you need brackets that run from the factory bumper to the frame directly. With the tow package, the bumper mounts to the hitch and then the hitch assembly mounts to the frame. I think the part you referenced is a reinforcement that is in the bumper and not the brackets. This may be what you’re looking for (drivers side) https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-...702-4b11-8698-0e178a66de01&pd_rd_i=B004GCBO3U

But it doesn’t say if it’s for factory tow or not. It looks like the right part but I’m not sure. There’s also a mirror bracket for the other side.

The bumper reinforcement beam is the part right under the rear bumper. The receiver hitch attaches to it with two bolts under the bumper (see picture) and with the side bolts. You can buy just that piece and replace it and it's easier to see it if you drop the spare tire. Here is the part number (Bumper Face Bar Reinforcement Beam (Rear) - Toyota (52043-04010)) just confirm that this one fits your truck. You'll probably also need what @vssman mentions in his post if you don't replace the hitch.

If the the bumper supports look that bad -- how does the rest of the frame look, I wonder, particularly up front near the transmission & engine.
