Well I notice some rusting around the bottom back window. Other that getting a rear window new rubber seal, paint, tube of silicone, and a wire brush. I've never done this before, where do you locate rubber molding other than the dealership. Any other suggestions?

I have a feeling there is quite a bit more rust hiding under there, you will most likely have to remove the rear window in order to fix that properly.

Just the thought of removing the headliner and interior paneling. I'm beginning to think about taking it to a body shop and have them repair it.

    Wow.

I hope you aren't in for a big surprise when that rubber gets yanked.

I'd definitely take that in for repair if you have the means. That is very possibly a bit of a can of worms.

Probably under that weather stripping is is some more rust too. I'd take it to a bodyshop and have them fix it up before the rust gets larger!

If you can, take it to a shop. At least they can do a proper inspection and tell you the extent of the damage, then you can elect whether or not to do the work yourself, after. My $0.02...

Um, you definitely are going to want to pull that rear window. What you see isn't the tip of the iceberg Im afraid.

I'm having a hard time finding the video. I stumbled across when when I was looking to swap out the slider for solid glass window. It's a 5min job. The window is just held in by the gasket.
If I find it I'll post it in this thread

Most of those windows can be pushed out with two people and their feet. Or if you are getting a new seal, cut it. They are not glued in.
