Yeah something about doing a shackle flip kit but not flipping the shackles around so they were mounted up side down causing some metal on metal contact, but I would think that would take some time to break. He snapped the leafs shortly after doing the shackle flip. IIRC he determined it was ultimately the sideways winching that snapped them, it just sped the inevitable up. haha

Just on the drive into work today and at lunch I can tell 600 pounder coils cant handle the newly added weight  Body roll like a mofo and ride height dropped plenty lol! 700's on the way for me it looks like...

With full belly armor, sliders, front bumper and 9.5k winch I run 700# coils and they are barely enuf. Feels good but Id run a 750 if they made em

That's one reason why I am not putting my winch in my front bumper. It can go in the toolbox where the weight is distributed better.

Looking real good in here! I especially like the putter clutch you had installed!

    Two questions.
    1) Where is your parents land in wisconsin? My parents have some land in Adams County & a house on lake puckaway.

    2) How much did you get charged for the exhaust crossover? I had mine done by a "friend" and paid $120+ dollars.

I believe it after feeling what the full belly skids did to 600 #'s... Once again i'll be pulling coils out soon :puke: This should be the last time the coils come out for a while! Tyler, are you running your preload collars all the way to the top of the shock on both sides or no with the 700's?

I have probably about 5 threads showing, that's on a 14" coil. Not a lot of preload, only about 2-2.5" ride height addition.
When you get 700's and install be sure to eat your wheaties that day so you can adjust em

Thanks, haha that putter sure helped me recover from a busted up knee driving my truck! Caught some flak from people who thought it was seriously unsafe... probably was but it was that or go insane.

1- I grew up in Eau Claire WI. My parents home is on a square 40 south of Eau Claire. I went to school in Duluth MN, and love the northern parts of WI and MN!

2-Ha my guy in town told me i couldnt walk out the door paying more than $60 :D He's a dirt track racer and I often just stop in and chat while he's working on his car.

haha, I bring them to a local shop and he just throws em in the wall compressor. Did it the redneck way once and never again. I got it done but I think I crossthreaded my driverside collar...

I was reading that thinking, what the hell is a putter clutch so I looked back and it literally is a putter on the clutch. haha
