30" Destination off road tires

Has anyone tried using third gen tailgate letters on a second gen tail gate? Second gen tailgate seems to have some amount of outward facing bow, can these letters flex to accommodate?

I’m pretty sure those are just die cut vinyl stickers which are flexible and should work fine. I Had the old school TOYOTA letters on my tailgate then changed it up with this. I really like how it turned out.
