I am aware they they keep their value but i just thought they were way over priced. and BTW rab89 I was trying to figure out where to put this post and I thought i was posting this in the correct section. Please forgive me.

 

typical pricing from a dealership, used tacomas have a high resale value regardless of being a 2wd prerunner or a 4wd model

 

I like the trucks. That SWB one looks good with the black. Prices are all high.

 

the residual is waay high on tacoma's dam near as high or higher than my bmw was. i can tell you it shocked me when i was looking to buy mine the difference in price was almost non existent between used and new.

 

I was unaware we had a high ouput V6 option and a "teal" paint color.

 

truck and suv superstore has a good rep out here...

 

The $30k for a 2008 with over 35k miles is certainly too much. I bought my brand new 2012 for $32, just $2k more. A lift with some wheels isn't going to add all that much more to the value. Indeed, I'd pass it up with those additions.

 

I bought my 2012 TRD Sport 4x4 for 31K and change...

the very next day...the dealership had my 2010 SR5 4x4 trade-in listed for 33K. I kid you not. I later saw it on the internet "reduced special internet price" of 31.5K. It sold in a week (don't know for how much?)

my 2010 was super clean and only had 26K miles...and they did a Toyota certified w/ new tires and stuff...

I was mainly referring to the overpricing and the "teal" color...lol Just found it funny. I am not interested in any of these. I was just playing around on craigslist and found it funny.

 

Damn. Maybe I should go buy some new trucks and sell them as used. Seems to be going for almost as much or more.
