    Just get on EBay or Amazon . they are pretty cheap, and do amazing things.

    Drill small pen like holes in the top of cup holder. Then underneath the consol that just pops out , wrap the cord over the holes, a good adhesive type tape will secure the led cord in place

    Thanks Unchained 5150.
    I took your input and with that I designed the illumination to just be a peripheral light, that just illuminates what it is suppose to. I positioned and secured the LED cord under the frame of the shift consol, so now it looks factory. I like it much better. It's subtle, and just accents exactly what it is suppose to.
