Side Mirror replacement

    Does anybody have a procedure on how to remove the mirror glass piece from the frame of the side mirrors? The glass broke on mine and i got the replacement from toyota just thought maybe sombody has done this and I dont want to break anything else.

    The FSM shows two claw holders at the bottom of the mirror glass and then then two tabs at the top corners.

    10. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR
    (a) Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of
    the outer rear view mirror, as shown in the
    illustration.
    (b) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective
    tape, disengage the 2 claws. ( Bottom two corners )
    (c) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outer rear
    view mirror.
