    Hi everyone,

Looking for assistance with angles for the single driveshaft on a regular cab with Dakar pack. Search yields plenty of help for the two piece driveshafts w/ CB, but not much for an RC guy. Would appreciate input from people who have upgraded the suspension on their RC's.

These angles are from the static angle of my parking pad: transfer is angled down at 5*, pinion angled up at 5*, maybe 6*. Based on 4Crawler driveline page, it appears I need to shim to angle the pinion down from the 5/6* to 3.5/4*

Everyone with the two piece driveshaft is angling their pinions up towards the CB, but I need to angle mine down from its current angle by 2.5*, correct?

    Thanks

I interested in any responses too. I've had a 2" AAL for a few years now. No vibes, but a rattle when I let off the gas at highway speeds. I'm not too worried about it. The u joint still looks good and I can't hear it unless my rear window is open. However if there is a fix I'd do it.

I've got 3* shims on order, hopefully that will take care of it. Mine is basically the same, u joint looks/feels solid and everything else is fine. I'll post after I get my shims in.
