Sirius Install

Have an 09 trd sport and looking at tss-radio for sirius satellite. I've seen previous posts on installing .. thanks.. have you had any issues? TSS told me today that the product that most have installed is back ordered for the following reason.
"Unfortunately the reason why the TOYSC1 is Out of Stock is due to a compatibility issue with basically every vehicle having to do with their latest software version. We\'re hoping eventually it will be fixed but do not have an ETA at this time. Normally this would be compatible with the 2009 Tacoma."

They say they following sirius products will work. Has anyone installed this unit on an 09?

Just took the toySC1 out of my taco.(have a sony hu now).It worked fine for me, no issues.Only had it in there a few months.If I can find the wiring I'll sell you mine cheap!! Also have the interface for the steering wheel controls.TSS is good but pricey.Bought mine on ebay way cheaper.

Yes, I installed the same kit (purchased locally) in my 09 Tacoma and have not had any issues. I used a "Shark fin adapter" (sold separately) to use the factory satellite antenna for a cleaner look. This system was installed last winter.
