Sirius XM Radio issues

I have a 2020 TRD Off-road with the non JBL enhanced head unit.
When I turn the truck on in the morning it can take up to 15min for the xm source to kick on. I live in a subdivision with few trees and a clear line of site of the southern sky.

Once the xm source does kick on, if the truck is later shut off, say when I get to work and then come back out 4hrs later for lunch, the xm source will start right up with the truck.

What am I missing here? Is the head unit that slow to register the signal or do you all think I have a head unit problem?

 

Maybe try rebooting the HU, could just be a software glitch. While running, hold the power button until the unit reboots.

 

The satellite receiver either can or cannot see the satellite. There is no 15 minute warm up period. You have a problem take it to the dealer.
