    I'm going to fab my own sliders (I hope) and am going to use square tube approx. 14 ga. any opinions?:confused:

    14 gauge is a little on the light side, if they are strictly for looks and to use as a step you are good to go. If you plan on needing them to save your truck you might want to step up to maybe a 12-10 gauge. IMHO
