smog testing

hi i was thinking of getting doug thorely long tube headers and the y pipe and flowmaster original 40 sense the long tube bypass the the cats would the smog guys still pass it if u just relocate the cat and replace them with high flow cats and keep every thing else stock because i live in california smog laws are very stricts here

 

Sorry but 100% of all Long Tube headers are not Smog legal in CA...
No matter what the Smog guy says.

maybe he is a nice guy and will pass you if the tail pipe number come out right. That is that really matters in the end.
But no other honest Smog tech will pass you....

The law reads that long tubes are not legal.. it is a Federal law.
Not that many people will care...
