I'm getting old, I live in New England. We may or may not have a bad winter, but, I can't handle snow blowing for hours as I have in the past. I'm also taking care of the older folk in my neighborhood and don't want to change that service. So, I'm asking you all if you have plowed with your Tacoma, what do you recommend for a 4-way plow? Time is short winter is coming soon. Thank you in advance. Capt.Jim.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Had a Homesteader plow on my Gen 2 TRD OR 6spd manual. It was okay up to about 6-8" of slow. The rig is light with a poly blade and a steel cutting edge. The blade on mine was 6'-6" - after a few Winters I realized a 7'-6" blade would have been better for cornering. Sticky snow can be problematic - gotta hit it at 3-4" deep and not wait for the end. It was adequate for my needs but frustrating with snowfalls > 10".

i would suggest checking facebook marketplace. lots of dirt cheap non-title-able plow equipped 'farm' trucks that can do the duties far better than a light duty mid size truck. most can be had for less than $5k.
